NPORS (NATIONAL PLANT OPERATORS REGISTRATION SCHEME)
As an approved NPORS training provider, training and testing can either be completed at our dedicated test centre or on your own site (providing your site meets the necessary criteria and the appropriate plant is available).
Our NPORS Senior Instructor has many years experience enabling MDH Plant Training to deliver the highest quality of training and testing.
Help and advice can be provided in deciding which route the candidate should follow i.e. novice operator with no operating experience, experienced operator requiring ‘refresher’ training or an experienced operator requiring no training.
NPORS 'CSCS' OPERATOR CARD
To obtain the NPORS 2-year ‘CSCS’ card you must have passed a CITB Health, Safety and Environment test within two years. You will then complete the theory and practical test at a dedicated test centre or on your own site. Once the test has been successfully completed the operator will be awarded a 2-year operator card endorsed with the CSCS logo. During the 2-year card life the operator must achieve the appropriate S/NVQ to be awarded a 5-year blue competent operator card which is then valid for 5 years.
NPORS 'TRADITIONAL' CARD
Complete the theory and practical test at a dedicated test centre or on your own site. Once the test has been successfully completed the operator will be awarded a 3-year card that is renewable. This card can be endorsed with the Health, Safety & Environmental logo if the operator has passed a valid CITB Health & Safety touch test within two years. If the operator hasn’t passed a valid H&S touch test they will still be awarded a 3-year but without the Health, Safety & Environmental logo.
